What is Church in the Home ?

The phrase 'churches-in-the home' is a difficult one for people to understand initially. In fact churches-in-the home is about setting people free! Free from the cells of personal isolation, rejection, sin and sickness that the devil has bound them into. Churches-in-the home are seen to be the basic building blocks of a church, just as cells are the basic building blocks of life. They are 'small living things with an aim to grow and multiply!'.

Churches-in-the home need to be big enough to function and small enough for building relationships. These relationships will include accountability and the removal of masks allowing healing, deliverance from habits and above all salvation to take place. The Key for church-in-the home life is the reality of Jesus with us.

  • The presence of Christ.
  • The power of Christ.
  • The purpose of Christ.

Through churches-in-the home we live out the gospel in the world, being equipped for the works of service to which God calls us. Our celebration meetings overflow with the presence of God spiritual gifts can be developed in a context of trust and security. As we develop true community with each other we are also enabled to reach out together to others in the world. Churches-in-the home exist to impact the world with the gospel. Without exception all the world’s largest churches uses some form of church-in-the home. You will also find help on how to become a Christian.
